Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 25, 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply when you use abovegoodbakes.com, purchase or reserve products from Above Good Bakes, submit an inquiry, or otherwise interact with us through the website. By placing an order or reservation, you agree to these terms.

1. About Above Good Bakes

Above Good Bakes is a small-batch cottage food bakery serving customers in the Greater Austin Area, Texas. Products are produced in a private residence and offered through local delivery, farmers market pickup and other arrangements described on our website.

Above Good Bakes does not operate a public retail storefront or offer customer pickup from the private residence unless expressly stated otherwise.

2. Products

Product descriptions, ingredients, pricing, estimated weight, availability and fulfillment information are provided on our website and may be updated from time to time.

Our Big Country Sourdough is a handmade product. Individual loaves may vary naturally in shape, appearance, crust, crumb, color and finished weight.

References to an approximate 2.5 lb loaf are estimates rather than a guarantee that every loaf will weigh exactly the same amount.

3. Availability and Small-Batch Production

Above Good Bakes produces in small batches. Product availability is subject to production capacity, ingredient availability, scheduling and other operational considerations.

We may limit quantities, close ordering or reservations early, pause availability, or decline additional orders when available production capacity has been reached.

An item appearing on the website does not guarantee that it will remain available indefinitely.

4. Pricing and Payment

Prices are shown on the website at the time an order or reservation is placed. Big Country Sourdough is currently offered at $14 per loaf unless a different price is shown on the website or at checkout.

Payment may be required at the time an order or reservation is placed. Online payments are processed through Square and payment services integrated with our website and HighLevel checkout system.

The price, quantity, discounts, fees and other transaction details shown at checkout will apply to that purchase.

5. Local Delivery

Local Delivery orders currently require a minimum of two Big Country Sourdough loaves, representing a minimum merchandise order of $28 unless a different minimum is displayed on the website.

Eligible Local Delivery orders currently receive free local delivery within approved delivery areas. Delivery availability is determined by the address and ZIP code entered during the ordering process.

Customers select an available delivery day during checkout. Delivery is currently scheduled between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM on the selected delivery day. Next-day delivery may be available for qualifying orders placed before 10:00 AM Central, subject to current availability and production capacity.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address, ZIP code, phone number and any information reasonably needed to complete the delivery. One delivery address applies to each order unless another arrangement has been agreed to in advance.

Optional delivery instructions may be provided during checkout. We will make reasonable efforts to follow those instructions, but we cannot guarantee instructions that are unsafe, inaccessible, incomplete or otherwise impractical.

6. Farmers Market Reservations and Pickup

Farmers Market reservations are separate from Local Delivery orders. Farmers Market Pickup currently allows customers to reserve as few as one loaf.

The standard Farmers Market reservation window opens Saturday at 10:00 AM Central and closes Thursday at 10:00 AM Central for the upcoming Saturday pickup. Reservations may close earlier if available production capacity is reached or circumstances prevent us from accepting additional reservations.

Farmers Market reservations are paid online when the reservation is placed unless another arrangement is expressly offered.

Reserved Farmers Market orders must be picked up during the scheduled Saturday pickup period, currently 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at the location communicated for that reservation.

Reserved means reserved. During the scheduled pickup period, we do not intentionally sell your reserved loaf to another customer simply because you have not arrived yet.

Because each reserved loaf is baked specifically for that reservation, an order that is not collected by 1:00 PM and for which no prior arrangement has been made may be donated. Unclaimed Farmers Market orders are non-refundable.

7. Large & Special Orders

The Large & Special Orders form is an inquiry form and does not by itself create a confirmed order, reservation or production commitment.

Availability, quantity, product selection, requested date, delivery or pickup arrangements, pricing and any other special requirements must be reviewed and accepted by Above Good Bakes before a Large or Special Order is considered approved.

Once a Large or Special Order has been accepted, full payment is required before the order is confirmed. We do not begin ingredient purchasing, production planning, scheduling or preparation for the order until full payment has been received.

Once full payment has been received, Above Good Bakes may begin purchasing ingredients, reserving production capacity and planning the order. Because costs may be committed specifically for that order, cancellation or refund availability may become limited after payment and will depend on the status of purchasing, planning and production at the time of the request.

8. Changes, Cancellations and Refunds

We understand that plans sometimes change. Because Above Good Bakes plans each bake and may purchase flour, other ingredients and supplies based on confirmed orders, cancellation and refund requests are considered in light of the applicable ordering cutoff and the status of production for that order.

Farmers Market Reservations: Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change a Farmers Market reservation. Requests received before the Thursday 10:00 AM Central reservation cutoff may generally be eligible for a refund or change.

Once the Thursday 10:00 AM cutoff has passed, the final quantity for that Saturday's bake may be used for ingredient purchasing, production planning and scheduling. Refunds requested after that point may therefore be limited or unavailable.

Farmers Market orders that are not collected by Saturday at 1:00 PM and for which no prior arrangement has been made are non-refundable and may be donated.

Local Delivery: Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change a Local Delivery order. The applicable production cutoff is 10:00 AM Central on the day before the selected delivery date.

Requests received before that cutoff may generally be eligible for a refund or change. After the cutoff, ingredients, baking capacity and delivery planning may already have been committed to the order, so a refund may be limited or unavailable.

Large & Special Orders: Large and Special Orders require full payment before planning and preparation begin. After payment is received, Above Good Bakes may immediately begin purchasing ingredients, reserving production capacity and making preparations specifically for the order.

If a Large or Special Order is canceled after those costs or commitments have been made, some or all of the payment may be non-refundable based on the costs already incurred and the stage of production.

Even when a cash refund is not otherwise available, Above Good Bakes may, when circumstances reasonably allow, choose to offer a rescheduled date, future-order credit, partial refund or other accommodation. Any such accommodation is offered at our discretion and is not guaranteed.

If Above Good Bakes cannot fulfill your order: If we are unable to fulfill a paid order or reservation, we will provide a refund for the unfulfilled order unless the customer agrees to a replacement, rescheduled date, future-order credit or another resolution.

9. Scheduling and Fulfillment Changes

Baking, delivery and Farmers Market schedules may occasionally be affected by weather, illness, equipment issues, market changes, ingredient availability or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If a confirmed order cannot reasonably be fulfilled as scheduled, Above Good Bakes may contact the customer to arrange another available date, an alternative fulfillment arrangement or a refund when appropriate.

10. Ingredients and Allergens

Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredient and allergen information before purchasing or consuming a product.

Big Country Sourdough contains wheat. Current ingredient information is provided on the product label and may also be provided on the website or ordering pages.

If you have a food allergy, sensitivity or ingredient concern, please contact us before placing an order.

Because products are prepared in a private-residence kitchen environment, customers with severe allergies should consider their individual needs and risk tolerance before purchasing.

11. Texas Cottage Food Notice

Products sold by Above Good Bakes are produced as cottage food products in Texas.

THIS PRODUCT WAS PRODUCED IN A PRIVATE RESIDENCE THAT IS NOT SUBJECT TO GOVERNMENTAL LICENSING OR INSPECTION.

Additional ingredient, allergen, net-weight, registration and cottage food information may be displayed on product packaging, labels, ordering pages or other customer materials as applicable.

12. Customer Information and Order Accuracy

Customers are responsible for reviewing order information before submitting an order, including product quantity, contact information, delivery address, delivery or pickup selection and any other details entered during checkout.

Above Good Bakes is not responsible for delays or failed fulfillment caused by materially incorrect or incomplete customer-provided information when reasonable attempts to complete the order have been made.

13. Website Information

We try to keep the information on abovegoodbakes.com accurate and current. However, product availability, pricing, delivery areas, reservation windows, market arrangements, descriptions and other information may occasionally change.

We may correct errors, update information, change availability or modify the website without prior notice.

14. Website Content and Intellectual Property

The Above Good Bakes name, branding, logo, website design, photographs, written content and other original materials appearing on this website may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or commercially used without permission, except where otherwise permitted by law.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Above Good Bakes is not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of this website, delays or interruptions outside our reasonable control, or a customer's failure to review provided product, ingredient, allergen, delivery, pickup or order information.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

16. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party providers for services such as website hosting, customer relationship management, forms, ecommerce, analytics and payment processing.

Your use of certain third-party services may also be subject to the terms and policies of those providers.

17. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time as our products, pricing, website, payment methods, delivery areas, Farmers Market arrangements or business practices change.

The version posted on this page at the time of use or purchase will apply, and the “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision.

19. Privacy

Information collected through the website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
